Hemistich is a WhatsApp-first study companion for African tertiary students. It can summarize PDFs and lecture notes, calculate your GPA, set reminders, generate quizzes and flashcards, find verified scholarships, and more — all from inside WhatsApp.
No. Hemistich runs entirely inside WhatsApp, which you already have. There's nothing extra to install and no account to create — your phone number is your account.
You can start free with 400 H-Credits every month. Paid plans start at ₦2,000/month (Standard) and ₦5,000/month (Pro). You can also buy one-off credit packs from ₦500. See the pricing section for details.
H-Credits are the in-app currency used for AI features like summaries, quizzes, and research. Some tools (like the GPA calculator) are always free. Send /plan any time to check your balance.
Payments are processed securely through Paystack. You can pay with debit cards, bank transfer, or USSD. Send /buy or /subscribe and you'll get a secure payment link. We never see or store your card details.
Yes. The opportunity finder surfaces real scholarships, internships, and grants matched to your field and region. You can also paste any opportunity link and Hemistich will check it for common scam signals before you apply.
Your data is yours. We don't sell or share your information. Files are stored securely and temporary files are deleted automatically. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
First, check your internet connection and try sending /help again. If a file failed, make sure it's under 10MB and in PDF or image format. Still stuck? Reach us through the contact form or email support@hemistich.com.
Send /referral to get your unique code. When a friend joins using your code, you both receive 100 H-Credits for free. There's no limit — the more friends you invite, the more you earn.
You can cancel a subscription any time with /subscribe. To request deletion of your account and data, follow the steps on our Data Deletion page.
