Payments & Refund Policy

1. Plans and what you get

  • Free: A no-cost tier that includes a monthly allowance of H-Credits and access to core features, subject to fair-use limits.
  • Standard & Pro subscriptions: Paid monthly plans that provide a larger monthly H-Credit allowance, higher limits, and additional features as described on our pricing section.
  • Credit packs: Optional one-time purchases that add extra H-Credits to your balance.

Features, credit amounts, and prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change over time. The price displayed when you purchase applies to that purchase.

2. Trials and the free tier

  • The free tier acts as an ongoing trial — you can evaluate Hemistich before paying anything.
  • Free monthly credits and free-action limits reset on a recurring cycle and do not roll over.
  • Free usage is provided "as is" with no guarantee of availability.

3. Billing

  • Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack. We do not store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions are billed for the stated period (e.g. monthly) and grant your plan's credit allowance for that period.
  • Prices are stated in the currency shown at checkout and may be inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated.
  • It is your responsibility to keep your payment method valid; failed payments may pause or downgrade your plan.

4. Refund eligibility

Because Hemistich delivers digital benefits (H-Credits and features) immediately, the following applies:

  • Technical failure: If you were charged but did not receive the credits or plan you paid for, and we cannot resolve it by crediting your account, you are entitled to a full refund of that charge.
  • Duplicate/accidental charge: Verified duplicate or clearly accidental charges are refundable.
  • Unused subscription: If you request a refund within 7 days of a subscription charge and you have not meaningfully consumed that period's credits, we may, at our discretion, issue a full or pro-rated refund.
  • Consumed credits: H-Credits that have already been used, and one-time credit packs that have been partially or fully consumed, are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paystack and may take several business days to appear.

These rights are in addition to any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

5. Cancellation

You can stop using a paid plan at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless you qualify under section 4. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the paid period, then revert to the free tier.

6. Changes to pricing

We may change prices, plans, or credit amounts. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for; they apply from your next renewal or purchase. Material changes will be communicated in advance where required.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@hemistich.com with your WhatsApp number (used as your account), the transaction reference, and a short description. We aim to respond within a few business days.
